Reopening day 2026-27

Reopening Day & Environment Day Celebrations The new academic year commenced with great enthusiasm and excitement on June 1 and 3, with reopening celebrations themed “Future Dreamers,” encouraging students to dream big and aspire towards their future goals. The occasion was particularly significant as the school community warmly welcomed its new Manager, Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, and new Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Samji Vadakkedom CMI. The campus was beautifully decorated with thematic welcome arches, creative displays, cut-outs, bulletin boards, and a special selfie point. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the vibrant beats of Chendamelam and the cheerful reception provided by staff members in attractive doll costumes. The official inauguration programme, combined with the observance of Environment Day, began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Holy Book Reading, and a dedication prayer led by the Manager. The function was graced by Chief Guest Shri S. Raghavendran, Deputy Project Director, VSSC, Principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Samji Vadakkedom CMI, and PTA President Mr. Premjith. The school magazine was officially released, and prizes were distributed to regular staff members and students who achieved 100% attendance. Cultural performances, including a welcome dance, medley, and theme dance, added colour and vibrancy to the celebrations. As part of the Environment Day observance, Shri S. Raghavendran planted a sapling in the school garden, “Edu Florencia,” symbolizing the institution’s commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable living. A second session was specially arranged for UKG and students of Grades II, III, and IV, featuring a welcome address by the Principal and engaging activities to make the young learners feel comfortable and excited about the new academic year. The celebrations also included the release of a promotional video based on the theme “Future Dreamers,” while transportation facilities were arranged from the very first day to ensure a smooth and convenient reopening. The programme reflected the collective efforts, dedication, and teamwork of the management, staff, and students. Back to Album
