CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION 2024
On November 14, our school, celebrated Childrens Day with a vibrant student rally. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hafeez S.J., renowned mentalist and hypnotist. Mr. Sisupalan, Assistant Excise Inspector, led an anti-drug pledge for students.
Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI, Principal, shared the Children’s Day message and extended greetings to all. Stars were awarded to students excelling academically, and Rev. Fr. Mathew Puthenpurakkal CMI, Vice Principal and Finance Administrator, presented a token of appreciation to the guest.
The celebrations included student cultural performances, attended by Mrs. Lalitha Kumari (KG In-Charge), Mrs. Suchitra (Academic Coordinator), and other staff, making it a memorable event for all.

kG TOUR 2024
On November 7,2024 our KG students had an exciting and educational field trip to Funtura, an entertainment and activity center located in Kazhakoottam. This trip was planned to provide the young learners with a fun and engaging experience outside the classroom, promoting both social interaction and physical activity in a safe environment.
The children, accompanied by teachers and a few non-teaching staffs, reached Funtura in the morning. The staff at Funtura welcomed them warmly and briefed the teachers on the day’s schedule, highlighting the activities available and safety measures to be followed. Each child was given a name tag for easy identification, and the teachers ensured everyone was comfortably settled before starting the activities.
Activities and Experiences
The day was packed with a range of activities suitable for the age group, designed to promote sensory skills, balance, coordination, and team play. Some of the popular attractions included:
1. Play Zone: The soft play area, with slides, ball pits, and climbing structures, was a big hit among the children. They had a fantastic time exploring the different sections and playing with their friends.
2. Adventure Zone: For those a bit more daring, the mini obstacle course was an exciting challenge. This area encouraged children to develop physical agility and spatial awareness in a fun and supportive setting.

GRADE IV - CLASS ASSEMBLY
Grade IV Assembly
Theme: Kerala Piravi
The Grade IV assembly was a lively celebration of Kerala Piravi held on November 8th, 2024 honouring Keralas heritage and natural beauty. The event began with a captivating welcome song and an inspiring thought for the day. Students showcased their talents through a special performance, speech, skit, and a group song "Keralageetham."
Principal Father emphasized the importance of Kerala Piravi, highlighting unity, diversity, and cultural heritage. The assembly ended with students gaining a deeper understanding of Kerala’s history , culture and values.

Open Chess Rapid Tournament
The Open Chess Rapid Tournament for Under 17 was held on October 19 at Christ Nagar Public Senior Secondary School, Maranalloor, in collaboration with Sharp Mind Chess Academy and the Thiruvananthapuram Chess Association.

Our School won the overall award for maximum student participation. Approximately 160 students from over 40 schools in Thiruvananthapuram took part in the event.
Rev. Father Cyriac Madathil CMI presented cash prizes and awards. Rev. Father Chacko Puthukulam CMI, Sri Rajendran Achari, Sri Aji Goodwill (Director , Sharp Mind Chess Academy)and Sri Shaji (FIDE Arbiter) were present at the event .

SWARALAYA KIDS FEST 2024
*Swarlaya Kids Fest 2024* was held at Christ Nagar Public School Senior Secondary, Maranalloor, on October 5th. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI (Principal). Rev. Fr. Mathew Puthenpurackal CMI (Vice Principal), Mrs. Lalitha Kumari (KG In-charge), and Mrs. Suchithra V.V. (Academic Co-ordinator) graced the occasion with their presence. The children showcased a variety of cultural performances on various stages and prizes were awarded to the winners of the competitions.

GRADE V - CLASS ASSEMBLY
**Class Assembly Report – Grade V**
On 3rd October, Grade V students organized an assembly to mark the *International Day of Older Persons*. Through a skit, the assembly highlighted the invaluable contributions of the elderly in our lives.
The program included a prayer, pledge, thought for the day, news update, quiz, a vibrant theme dance and flashmob. Instrumental performances by Ishaan P. Nair and Devanarayan captivated the audience. A special moment was the recognition of Deveswar R. M. (Grade 7 D) for his silver medal in the *7th Sub Junior National Roller Netted Ball Championship 2024*.
Principal Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI delivered an inspiring message, and the event concluded with the School Anthem.

Empowerment Class
An empowerment class was conducted for senior secondary students. Mr.Anish, a Childline Case Worker, spoke on various topics, including child protection laws and rights, development schemes, drug abuse prevention programmes, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The initiative aimed to educate and empower students on these crucial issues.
The session was beneficial for the students. Mrs. Aathira Shankar (School Counsellor) and Mrs. Suchithra V.V. (Academic Coordinator) also attended the programme.

Onam Celebration 2024
Onam 2024
Onam celebrations were held at Christ Nagar Public School, Maranalloor Senior Secondary. Dr. Sumesh Kumar (Professor, Christ Nagar College, Maranalloor) was the chief guest and inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The school manager, Rev. Fr. Madathil, CMI, presided over the event and released the schools newsletter. Principal, Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam, CMI, addressed the students with Onam greetings. Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Mathew Puthenpurackal, CMI presented a token of appreciation to the chief guest. PTA President Mr. Premjith extended Onam wishes to the students. The Onam feast, which included cultural performances by the students, were held on the stage.

SOUTH ZONE SAHODAYA KALOTSAV 2024- 25
Christ Nagar Public School, Maranalloor, proudly participated in the Sahodaya Kalotsav 2024, hosted from August 29 to 31 at Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential School, Kunathukkal. This prestigious event featured a wide range of cultural competitions, and our students competed with enthusiasm and skill in categories such as literary events, music, dance, skit, and art.
Out of 62 schools in the South Zone, our school achieved an impressive 23rd position. The students’ outstanding performances reflected their hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence. Their achievements not only highlighted their individual talents but also underscored the school’s dedication to fostering a holistic educational experience.

Teachers Day 2024-25
Teachers Day was celebrated on September 5th with great enthusiasm. Students honored their teachers through a special *Guru Pooja* ceremony and presented heartfelt greeting cards as a token of appreciation. Rev. Fr. Cyriac Madathil CMI, the School Manager, delivered an inspiring message on the significance of the day, while presiding over the event.
Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI, the Principal, extended his warm wishes to all the teachers. The celebration also featured a variety of vibrant cultural performances by Grade VII students, adding joy to the occasion.

Merit Day 2024-25
Merit Day
Christ Nagar Public School Senior Secondary, Maranalloor, hosted Merit Day to recognize and honour the outstanding achievements of Grade X students in the 2023-24 academic year. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. P. H. Kurian IAS (Retd.), Chairman of the Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority, who served as the Chief Guest. The function was presided over by the Manager, Rev. Fr. Cyriac Madathil CMI.
The top scorer of Grade X, Master J. V. Afran Jalal, along with other meritorious students, were presented with tokens of appreciation by the Chief Guest, Manager, Principal, Vice Principal, and PTA President. Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI (Principal) honoured the Chief Guest with a memento. The event was further enriched by the presence of Rev. Fr. Mathew Puthenpurackal CMI (Vice Principal) and PTA office bearers. PTA President, Mr. Premjith, also addressed the gathering, offering congratulations to the students on their achievements.
The celebration concluded with various cultural programmes performed by the students, adding vibrancy to the occasion.

It helps our students recognize their responsibility towards the underprivileged and less fortunate. Kindergarten- Independence day celebration
Independence day celebration of the Kindergarten department was organised on 12th August,2024. All the students came in white uniform with Indian flag. LKG students participated in colouring activity of national flag and the ukg students had enjoyed drawing and colouring of Indian Flag. All the classrooms were decorated in the independence day theme. Children imitated as freedom fighters and social reformers which added colours to the celebration. Quiz competition related to Independence Day was conducted classwise and gifts were distributed to the winners. Children got opportunity to participate in various activities like preparation of photo collage, photo exhibition related to India and independence, video presentation about India and Mahatma Gandhi. Through CASA our charity programme tinytots contributed bedsheets and many stationary items to help the poor and needy people. They also extended a helping hand towards the people of Wayanad , earthquake affected area.

Kindergarten - Golden Words Weeks.
Kindergarten classes celebrated Golden Words Week from July 8th to 12th, 2024, to learn and practice to use kind and respectful words. Children learned and practiced golden words like please, excuse me, thank you, and sorry. Activities related to golden words, such as role play, a magic room with magic words, short stories and rhymes, were given. The children responded well to the activities and showed improvement in using golden words in their daily routines. golden words week was a fun and educational experience for the kindergarten classes, helping them understand the importance of kind and respectful communication.

*Report on Hygiene Week**
Hygiene Week was celebrated from July 15th to July 19th, 2024, with the aim of teaching students good hygiene habits. Activities such as hand washing, brushing, and combing were introduced to the students. We also displayed various hygiene products, and a video presentation highlighting the importance of hygiene was shown to all the KG classes. The children showed great enthusiasm and interest in learning good hygiene habits through rhymes, stories, and a puppet show. They acquired valuable habits for maintaining personal hygiene through these fun and engaging activities. Overall, Hygiene Week was a fun and educational experience for our kindergarten classes.

78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION.
The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Shri PV Ramesh Kumar, DYSP Crime Branch, Economic Offenses Wing, Thiruvananthapuram, inaugurated the celebrations by hoisting the national flag and delivered an inspiring Independence day message.
The school’s charity initiative, CASA 2024-25, was officially launched during the event. The CASA newsletter and housing project was released by Principal, Rev. Father Chacko Puthukulam CMI.
Vice Principal, Rev. Father Mathew Puthenpurakkal CMI and Mrs. Vidya Krishna, PTA Vice President addressed the gathering.
Students cultural performances were showcased, adding a vibrant touch to the occasion.
As part of charity drive students and teachers visited various orphanages and destitute homes, where they provided much-needed assistance.

SWARALAYA ARTS FEST 202425
Swaralaya Arts Fest-2024 was organised on 13th and 14th of August. The event was inaugurated by the renowned playback singer, Shri Anwar Sadat. The function was presided over by Rev. Father Cyriac Madathil CMI, the Manager of the school.
Rev. Father Chacko Puthukulam CMI, the Principal, delivered an inspiring address to the students. Mrs. Lalitha Kumari, KG In-charge and Mrs. Vidya Krishna, PTA Vice President graced the occasion with their presence. Students participated in a series of vibrant and colorful competitions. Prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions.

KG - Fruits Day
Our kindergarten celebrated Fruits Day on 9th August with great enthusiasm. Each student brought a fruit, which the teachers cut and mixed to create a delicious fruit salad. Refreshing lemonade was also distributed to all the kids. Various fruits, their plants, and products were made from them were showcased. Fruit carving displays added to the excitement. A "Fruit Stall" was set up where kids dressed as salespeople, and their peers shopped for their favorite fruits. This activity allowed them to practice social skills and learn about shopping. The children had a wonderful time learning and enjoying the vibrant colors of the day.

FIRE AND SAFETY CLASS - Enhancing the students safety and preparedness.
On 29th July, 2024 a team of Fire & Safety officers from Fire and Rescue Station, Kattakada held an awareness class for Grade IX and XI students. The session covered key topics such as the fire triangle, preventive measures, and emergency response procedures. Students participated in practical demonstrations, including fire drills and using fire extinguishers. The class concluded with a Q&A session, providing students with valuable fire safety knowledge and skills. The initiative was well-received and aimed at enhancing the students safety and preparedness.

ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR PARENTS 2024-25
The Parents Meeting of the academic year 2024-25 along with an Orientation session for the parents of Grades I to VII was held in the month of June 2024 at the School Auditorium.
Rev. Fr Dr.Titto Vargese CMI led the orientation session on Parental care which aimed to educate parents on effective parenting strategies, the importance of their involvement in their childrens education, and ways to support their childrens emotional and social development.

The students of Grade X, XI and XII attended the orientation session on Personality Development led by Rev. Fr Dr. Jerin Thuruthel CMI and Rev. Fr Dr.Titto Vargese CMI.

The Investiture Cermony was held on June 28, 2024 with great pomp and dignity. Our school celebrated the ceremony with great enthusiasm and Zeal, presided by our Manager Rev.Fr Cyriac Madathil CMI ,Principal Rev .Fr Chacko Puthukulam CMI, Vice Principal and Finance Administrator Rev.Fr Mathew Puthenpurackkal CMI. It was the occasion where the elected students were all prepared to wear the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibility entrusted to them by the school Management.

MUSIC AND YOGA DAY 2024- 25
The International Yoga Day and World Music Day was celebrated on 21st June. Heartfulness Trainer Ms Sarasijarani and renowned playback singer Ms Saritha Ram inaugurated the occasion. Rev. Fr. Chacko Puthukulam CMI (Principal) and Rev. Fr. Mathew Puthepurackal CMI (Finance Administrator and Vice Principal) blessed the occasion with their gracious presence. Various artistic performances collaborating music and yoga were also staged by the students.

OPENING DAY OF PRE-KG AND ANGELS ABODE(DAY CARE) The new academic year for PRE-KG and Day care were commenced on 12 June 2024. The timings were determined from 09.30 am to 11.00 am. The reopening of PRE- KG & Day Care seemed more overwhelming than ever before. Our Respected Principal Rev Fr Chacko Joseph, CMI, KG In- charge, Ms Lalitha Kumari and the class teachers personally welcomed the students on the first day to help them cope up with a new environment. The tiny tots were given gifts and sweets by their teachers. All the students marked their attendance by palm printing. Tiny tots seemed very excited in dipping hands in the water colour.

REOPENING AND ENVIRONMENT DAY 2024- 25
School re-opening was celebrated along with World Environment Day on June 5. Rev. Father Cyriac Madathil CMI ( Manager) presided over the function and delivered Dedication prayer to the children. Dr. Shafi Thompson (Chairman Institute of Management and Scientific Research) inaugurated the function. On the occasion, the special guest recited the school environment day pledge to the children, planted a sapling and released the school magazine. Rev. Father Chacko Puthukkulam CMI (Principal) welcomed everyone to the programme and distributed saplings to the children on the occasion of Environment Day. Cultural programmes by children were organised after the official function.

GRADUATION CEREMONY 2024
Kindergarten Graduation Day was conducted on 21 March 2024. The Manager Rev Fr Cyriac Madathil CMI complimented the graduates for their achievements and the Graduation Certificates were conferred to the students by the Vice- Principal & Financial Administrator Rev Fr Mathew Puthenpurackal CMI. The day was marked with the happiness of the tiny tots, proudly stepping up towards their future by graduating from the Kindergarten section.

CHRISTI SPERANZA 2023
The 9th Annual Day and Christmas celebration "Christi Speranza 2023" was conducted on 22 December 2023 at 4.30 pm in the School campus with His Excellency Most Rev Dr Mathews Mar Polycarpos as the Chief Guest and Dr Arul R B Krishna IPS, ADC to Governor as the Guest of Honour. The Special Guest, Flowers Top Singer Season 2, Second Runner Up, Master Akshith K Ajith added colours to the event with his special performance. The cultural extravaganza showcased the extraordinary talents in the budding stars of CNPSM accentuating the holistic development in our students.

Star day for the academic year 2023-2024 was held on 14 November 2023 along with the Children’s Day celebration led by grade 3 students as Class Assembly. The students who secured Ruby, Gold, Silver and Blue stars based on their academic performance were awarded during the occasion.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET
The Annual Sports Meet was conducted on 26 October 2023 at the University Stadium, Trivandrum. The students of Grades V to XI took part in the event which was inaugurated by the International Athlete Ms N V Sheena.
The Kids Sports Meet was conducted on 24 November 2023 at the school campus for the students from Pre-KG to Grade IV. The Meet was inaugurated by the Principal Fr Dr Bino Pattarkalam CMI.

The LKG and UKG classes visited MAGIC PLANET
on 21.10.2023. A total of 136 students participated in this
study tour. Magic Planet provided an interactive and
educational experience for the young learners.On the same day, 21.10.2023,students of from Class 1, 2,
and 3 went on a study tour to FUNTURA. A total of 245
students participated in this trip. FUNTURA offered various activities and attractions suitable for the age group, allowing the students to have an enjoyable and educational experience...

Scout & Guide
SCOUTS AND GUIDES At present we have 45 boys for the scouts unit and 22 girls for the guides unit from classes 5 to 9. This year we launched Cubs and bulbuls and more than 75 students registered, One of the greatest achievement is that our 7 students 5 scouts and 2 guides have won Gurupad certificate and qualified for next Rajyapuraskar governor award 2023-24.
The Junior Unit of Hindustan Scouts & Guides – “Cubs & Bulbuls” for the students of Grade I – IV was started in our school this year. As part of the same, an Orientation Programme was arranged for the parents of the students on 4th September. Mr Kishore Singh Chauhan, National Director of the Hindustan Scouts & Guides, India was the Chief Guest on the occasion to lead the session. Interesting part is participation of our small children of LKG and UKG in scouting as Bunny s, this year 23 KG students were registered in Bunny.
Last month October 27,28 and 29 a three days District Advancement camp was organised in our school in which more than 140 students were participated and awarded various awards.

UKG D
The class assembly of UKG D was held on 2nd November with the theme Gujarat. The assembly went off well with the participation of the entire class. Guided by their class teacher Ms Vidya G Nair, the students performed in a systematic manner. The assembly started with a prayer song followed by pledge and thought of the day respectively. Kumari Anora welcomed the Principal, staffs, parents and students. The important personalities of Gujarat were enacted on the stage. The speakers of the day gave more details of Gujarat. The fashion show and group dance were focused completely on the theme Gujarat, followed by an action song. Master Sidharth R S proposed words of gratitude and love to everyone gathered for the assembly. The assembly concluded with school anthem.

The students of UKG C conducted class assembly on 31st October under the guidance of their class teacher Ms Remya. The assembly focused on the theme Rajasthan. It was started at 8.45 am evoking the blessings of God almighty followed by pledge.
Master Aarav T S of UKG B welcomed the Principal , teachers, parents, non-teaching staffs and students.The programmes included thought for the day , speech , puppet show , fashion show and group dance. Kumari Arthana M S Nair expressed the words of gratitude on behalf of the whole class members of UKG C. The programmes end at 9 : 35 am.

ozone Day was celebrated on September 16..A poster making competition was held among the students of science club.Students actively participated in the poster meking competition.Principal Rev Fr Bino Pattarkalam CMI gave away the prizes to the winners.

Our tinytots celebrated Fruits day on 21 September 2023. An Orchard, a Juice Corner and Fruits display were set up by the students. The students talked about different fruits. They were served with fruit salad, lemonade & a piece of watermelon. They enjoyed fruit cutting and carving activities.

The class, UKG B conducted class assembly on 29 September under the guidance of their class teacher Ms Reshma. The assembly was based on the theme Punjab and it was started at 8.30 am. All the students from UKG B were participated in the assembly which included Prayer, pledge, thought for the day, welcome speech, Hindi action Song, story, English action Song, fancy dress, dance and vote of thanks. The boys and girls presented the programmes very well.

Christ Nagar Public School Senior Secondary celebrated Onam inaugurated by the playback singer Yathri Nair. Manager Rev Fr Syriac Madathil CMI presided over the meeting held at the School auditorum. Rev Fr Bino Pattarkalam CMI, Principal, Rev Fr Mathew Puthenpurackel CMI,Vice - Principal and Premith, PTA President addressed the students by wishing them good health and happiness. Independence Day Celebrations 2023
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated grandly in the school campus, led by the Department of Social Science. Several house-wise competitions were included, such as Desabhakti Ganam, the National Anthem, and Flag Making. As a part of the General Knowledge Club, a quiz competition was held on 11/08/2023. On 14/08/2023, Grade IV students conducted a class assembly on the theme of National Integration.
The honorable Panchayat President, Shri. Suresh Kumar, was present on that occasion. On 15.08.2023, Mrs. Prerna Shinde (Commanding Officer) hoisted the national flag and inaugurated the Independence Day celebrations. Our Manger presided over the function. Principal, Vice Principal and PTA President also attended the event.

The closing ceremony of the Reading Week celebrations and International Day against Drug Abuse were held on 26 June. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed poet, educator, and artist Sri. Syed Sabarmathi, who delivered a captivating keynote address. The Principal, Rev Fr Bino Pattarakalam CMI, was in attendance, along with the Academic Coordinator, Ms. Suchithra V V. As part of the Reading Week celebration, various Literary competitions were organized, and prizes were distributed during the occasion.

Merit Day Celebration_2023
The Merit Day of Class 10 for the academic year 2022-23 had been celebrated on 24th June in Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School Maranalloor at the school auditorium. The programme started by invoking the prayer, followed by Welcome speechand cultural programmes.The chief guest of the day was Adv. I. B. Satheesh MLA inaugurated the auspicious occasion by lighting the lamp and delivered motivational talk.Esteemed Manager Rev. Fr Cyriac Madathil CMI, the first and former Principal Ms. Annie Ignatious, former Principal Rev. Fr Joshy Mathew CMI, the Most Resected Principal Rev. Fr Bino Pattarkalam CMI, Respected Vice Principal Rev. Fr Mathew Puthenpurackal CMI, the PTA president Mr. Premjith felicitated and honoured the students with mementos and certificates.A total of 47 students appeared CBSE board examination of class 10. Five students got first class and 42 students secured distinction.Miss Megha S S and Vaiga S Dharsan are the school toppers who scored 98 percent.The programme ended by proposing Vote of thanks respectively

International Yoga Day & Music Day Celebrations
International Yoga Day & World Music Day was celebrated on 21st June to create awareness among the new generation regarding the maintaining of mental & physical health by combining yoga and music as a union of mind and body. Renowned playback singer Ms Saritha Rajeev inaugurated the occasion.
Rev. Fr Cyriac Madathil CMI (Manager) presided over the function. Rev. Fr Bino Pattarkalam CMI (Principal) and Rev Fr Mathew Puthenpurackal CMI (Finance Administrator & Vice Principal) blessed the occasion with their gracious presence.
Various artistic performances combining music and yoga were also staged by the students.

Re - Opening Day LKG Section 2023
The Opening Day for the LKG section at Christ Nagar Kindergarten was on 5 June 2023. The students were welcomed warmly, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. The school staff, including the Principal and the KG In-charge, ensured that the children had a memorable first day and made them feel comfortable in their new learning environment. The class teachers welcomed the students with sweets, crowns, and smiley stars, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

The blessing of the new Kindergarten block and Re-opening ceremony for UKG section took place on 7th June, 2023 at 9 am. A formal function paved way for the commencement of the new academic year 2023-24. Re-opening day Ceremony along with the World Environment day Celebrations was conducted together in the school auditorium on 5 June 2023.The Manager, Rev. Fr Cyriac Madathil CMI presided over the function. Mr Sheeju Chandran, Group Director, Technology Development and Management group, was the Chief Guest for the day. As part of the Environment day celebration, the chief guest planted a sapling followed by the Sibling Sapling Distribution to the student representatives from each grade. The Principal, Rev. Convocation 2022-2023
Kindergarten Graduation day was celebrated on 30 th March Thursday at 9.30 am in the School Auditorium. The tiny tots in their graduation gowns and hats added solemnity and charm to the occasion. The Chief Guest Dr Sreejith R ( District Chairman, IMA Trivandrum ), congratulated the graduates on their achievements. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they witnessed their children receiving the KG Graduation Diplomas from the dignitaries.

Excursion - Class X
A three-day Excursion was arranged for the students of Grade X from 26 to 29 March 2023. The sights at Ooty, Tea factory, Emerald Lake, Wax museum, Botanical Garden, Wayanad Kuruva Island, Pookod Lake, Ennuru Tribal Heritage Village etc. gave a delightful experience for the students. Camp fire and DJ Party made way for more fun.

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2022. Renowned Parent Management Trainer and Yoga Instructor Sri G Manikantan Nair inaugurated the celebration by hoisting the flag in the school campus. The Rhythmic Yoga performance by the students and teachers added charm to the occasion.

Reading Week
Reading Week 2022 was organized from 19 to 24 June commemorating Shri P N Panicker, the father of the Library movement in Kerala with manifold activities and competitions in the three languages, Malayalam, English & Hindi. Famous poet and author Shri Gireesh Puliyoor inaugurated the Reading Week. Books were distributed grade wise to the students as part of the week based on which competitions were conducted and the winners were awarded with prizes.

Picnic
Students from KG to Grade II visited the Magic Planet, Kazhakootam as part of their Picnic which gave them a day filled with fun and frolic. The students of Grades III to VIII were taken to Funtura, Lulu Mall, Trivandrum for their day out and the Grade IX students were extremely happy to enjoy the beauty of nature on their visit to Wagamon.

The students of class UKG C presented their class assembly on the theme Rainbow on 16th September 2022..The assembly started by evoking the blessings of God followed by pledge, welcome speech, thought of the day and various entertainment items. Our principal Rev. Fr. Joshy Mathew CMI motivated the tinytots through his speech.Children showcased their talent in English speech, hindi speech, hindi group song, solo song and group dance related to the theme rainbow. The children got an opportunity to perform the assembly in Hindi. They were able to expand their vernacular horizons as they did a Hindi rhyme and delivered a Hindi speech related with rainbow.Advik A V welcomed the gathering and Ms. Nisharani M R shared her views and gave a message to the children.Anamika S B expressed the words of gratitude on behalf of all the members of UKG C.

The Star Day of the academic year 2022-23 was held on 11th Nov in the assembly courtyard.Around 47 students scored above 95% and secured Ruby stars, 68 students scored above 90% and secured gold stars and 125 students scored above 80% and secured silver and 170 students scored above 70% and adorned with blue star.The day recognized the achievements of the talented ones and motivated others to excel in the next academic year.

KG Sweets Day Celebrations 2020-2021
Sweets Day was celebrated on 7th July. The program includes speech, action song, Demonstration of fruit salad,laddoo and cake making by tinytots. To ensure enthusiasm, a fruit salad making competition was also arranged for the kids and parents. Ms Remya L also prepared sweets for the kids. She made delicious coconut laddoos and shared the recipe to the kids.

World Environment Daywas celebrated on 5 June. Our Principal Rev Fr JoshyMayamparampil, CMI and Vice Principal, Rev Fr SubinKottoor, CMI together planted a sapling in the school premises and delivered environment day message to the kids. Kindergarten section celebrated the Re-opening Ceremonyon 3June (UKG) and 7June (LKG & Pre-KG) with colourful programmes in an online platform. The teachers extended a warm welcome to their tiny tots through a lovely performance accompanied by a melodious song. The students also performed in different entertainment programmes like speech, dance and song to welcome their new friends.

Reading Week Celebrations 2021-2022
The Reading Week Celebration of the Academic year 2020-’21 was organized from 19thto25th June. The celebration was inaugurated jointly by the school Principal Rev Fr Joshy Mayamparampil CMI, Vice Principal Fr Subin Kottoor CMI, staff secretaries and the in charge teachers of the language departments. The message of the day was given by the chief guest, Sri. AjithVenniyoor, who is a maven writer and worked in different fields, as a columnist in newspapers, news coordinator in Dooradarshan and the director of Gandhi darshan. Special programmes like recitation, book reviews, storytelling and speech prepared by students and reading materials were shared in the class groups for the duration of one week. Various competitions like picture storytelling cross word puzzle, recitation, poster making, reading competition, elocution and literary quiz were arranged for the students of all grades and the results were announced in the official video released on 25th June. The e-book containing ten selected stories of Bhagath A S Nair, the gifted ingenious from 5thgrade was released on the same day through the video.

The International yoga day Celebration for the academic year 2021-2022 was conducted on 21 June. Ms Thara P V Yoga Instructor was the Chief Guest for the International Yoga day. We conducted Online Yoga demonstration on that day. The chief Guest clearly explained to the children, What Yoga and the benefits of yoga. We conducted online as well as Yoga Teacher demonstrated some Asanas. Many of students participated in it.

Investiture Ceremony is one of the most prestigious event of Christ Nagar Public School Maranalloor were leaders are elected in each class and vested with responsibilities. Its is rightly said that leaders are not born, they are made .Let every child who stands here inspires others to dream more, learn more and become an excellent leaders of the future.To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning the school administrative body was formed on June 18th.The event began with a prayer song by Kumari Archa J S and followed by the welcome speech of Ms. Renjini G R , the coordinator of Investiture ceremony.Our Chief Guest Advocate I B Satheesh M L A Kattakkada Constituency has given an inspiring message to us .The function was presided over by Principal Rev. Fr JoshyMayamparambil CMI.Respected Principal hoisted the school flag and the housemistresses hoisted the house flags. The newly elected school head boy MasterSangeeth Krishna K S and School Head girl Kumari Pavithra V S were honored by the principal with saches, The Staff Secretary Ms. Sandhya Mohan pinned the badges and MrAneesh handed over the school flag.The principal congratulated the newly appointed school council members for their preparedness to take up responsibilities entrusted to them.Rev Fr SubinkottoorCMI ,Vice Principal and Bursar of CNPSM, shared a message to the newly appointed School Council members.
The election process of Head boy, Head Girl, House captains and Vice Captains were done through Google Forms .There was a dance performance regarding leadership was done by our students under the guidance of Mr Bipin, faculty of Dance.The newly appointed Head boy and Head girl took the oath and shared their thoughts.
Ms. Archana Kumari V S proposed the vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the School Anthem.
